NeuroPlaNe Lab website is now live

We are pleased to announce the launch of the NeuroPlaNe Lab website.

This platform will serve as a space for sharing research updates, publications, news, and opportunities related to our work on neurogenesis and neural plasticity.

We look forward to sharing future developments here.

Vicente Herranz Pérez
Associate Professor
Principal Investigator

Vicente Herranz Pérez is Associate Professor at the Universitat de València and Principal Investigator of the NeuroPlaNe Lab. He obtained his PhD in Neuroscience from the Universitat de València while working at a Spanish Research Council (CSIC) laboratory, where he studied genes involved in epilepsy and their expression in the brain. His research later shifted towards adult neurogenesis and the organization of the ventricular-subventricular zone, examining how genetic and pathological factors influence brain development. His current work focuses on immature neurons and protracted neuronal maturation in the mouse and human brain. He has extensive experience in electron microscopy and advanced imaging approaches applied to neural tissue.
